A common requirement for market research projects is to display data only when the statement is supported by a sufficiently large number of cases. A statement about the image of a brand that is only based on two completed surveys would not be really reliable.
But also data protection reasons (GDPR) can be behind minimal case number limits, for example, if in employee surveys only these results may be shown behind which are at least 10 different people in order to exclude tracking of individual people.
In DataLion, the minimal case number can be set up in the project settings in the backend as follows:
You can set the minimum number of cases under General > Advanced settings > Minimal case number. On the right side you can then choose whether data points that do not reach the minimal case number are either marked with a warning or are to be hidden completely.
The warning will then appear in red on the charts.
