For customers who work with very large amounts of data, it makes sense to store the data in the Exasol database instead of MySQL.
However, the databases handle empty values differently. If a field in Exasol is defined as numeric, no string can be processed.
While for MySQL empty values in the csv file are often reported as "NULL", for Exasol null values are simply left empty in the csv file.
